Vice President Business Development and Marketing

Reports To: President / CEO

This position is responsible for managing successful sales and marketing planning, strategies and tactics for the U.S. and performing all duties in such a way as to ensure revenue achievement, new business development, and client retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing leadership, direction and management to Customer Solutions and Marketing teams.
• Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
• Developing specific plans to ensure revenue growth, profitability and market share in all of company's facilities and products, including distribution, packaging and transportation.
• Creating annual plans, including monthly and quarterly goals, for Customer Solutions and Marketing team members.
• Identifying and initiating marketing and business development efforts.
• Coordinating with internal resources to ensure appropriate pricing and approvals of all sales.
• Establishing and delivering effective programs and presentations to address the following issues:
o New account sales and growth to base through sales activities.
o Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.
o Improved presentations.
o Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
o Proper use and level of internal sales support.
o Management of expenses at a reasonable level.
o Business/financial issues on contracts.
• Establishing new accounts and negotiating sales prices and discounts.
• Analyzing marketing programs and adjusting strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.

Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the supply chain, logistics, warehousing or distribution industries and at least 5 years of experience in a sales management role in one of those industries. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred. Successful candidates must have proven experience in driving revenue growth and profitability. Must be willing to travel at least 60% of the time.

Director of Recruiting and Retention for Drivers

This position will be based in our Corporate HQ in Dallas, TX. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruiting plans, best practices and programs to achieve our aggressive growth plans while having oversight of all recruiting and retention efforts for Capacity across the country. This position will also be responsible for managing our 3rd party leasing process and ensuring hiring compliance with all corporate policy, federal DOT regulations and state and local law. Ensures each operating center has enough capacity, drivers and contractors, to support business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partners with Operations in response to staffing requirements, responsible for developing and managing highly effective processes to attract and hire company drivers and owner operators
• Ensures recruiting programs meet business needs, comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as competitive best practices
• Manages the comprehensive recruitment process to ensure ongoing pipeline of qualified drivers
• Partners with HR to continually improve plans, programs, and processes in order to proactively control expenses, increase value, and promote highly effective recruiting processes

Facility Manager / General Manager will manage strategic and daily operations, activities and resources to support the efficient warehousing, distribution, packaging and transportation of products for operations in New Century facility for a single, high-profile client.

Responsibilities

Direct the operations of warehouse, packaging, and transportation managers to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations.

Evaluate overall operations and develop short- and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives.

Oversee specific warehousing, distribution, packaging and transportation operations to ensure company and customer requirements are met.

Must be able to give and receive innovative, creative and helpful feedback for team growth, productivity and profitability. Strong customer service emphasis.

Proficient in the Microsoft Suite and Lotus Notes packages desired.

Strong demonstrated experience effectively managing hourly and salaried staff. Experience with performance management systems, progressive discipline and safety reporting.

Experience with the fiscal components (budgeting, cost controls, etc.) of facility management.

Knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

S. Reynolds & Associates, Inc. is under contract with a premier third party logistics provider to source an Operations Manager for their Romeoville, IL facility. They manage a truckload fleet of 200 power units and 925 trailers and operate close to six million square-feet of warehouse space across 16 U.S. distribution center locations. Operations Manager will manage strategic and daily operations, activities and resources to support the efficient warehousing, distribution, packaging and transportation of products for operations in Romeoville facility for a single, high-profile client.

Responsibilities

Direct the operations of warehouse, packaging, and transportation managers to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations.

Evaluate overall operations and develop short- and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives.

Oversee specific warehousing, distribution, packaging and transportation operations to ensure company and customer requirements are met.

Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about enhancing value, service and effectiveness, and profitability.

Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment and property. Ensure compliance with all company, customer and government/regulatory requirements.

Directly manage budget and P&L for operations.

Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels -- managing labor costs, overtime and retention.

Requirements

At least 5 years management experience in a high volume, fast paced 3PL warehousing and transportation environment. Comprehensive knowledge of large warehousing operation including packaging is necessary. A broad range of management skills is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning. Must be able to give and receive innovative, creative and helpful feedback for team growth, productivity and profitability. Strong customer service emphasis.

Proficient in the Microsoft Suite and Lotus Notes packages desired.

Strong demonstrated experience effectively managing hourly and salaried staff. Experience with performance management systems, progressive discipline and safety reporting.

Experience with the fiscal components (budgeting, cost controls, etc.) of facility management.

Knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Operations Manager

They have over 112 locations in North America. Warehousing, distribution, and transportation are key components of this job. Under the direction of a General Manager, successful candidate for this position will be responsible for managing one or more cost centers. Working with and through supervisory and warehouse personnel, the Operations Manager is a team builder, managing the daily activities of the warehouse, including personnel scheduling, supervision and proper and safe utilization of space, equipment, building and personnel. This position serves as the key interface and coordinator between warehouse and office operations.

Within the scope of this position's responsibilities, the incumbent must continually focus on the improvement of his/her processes in order to ensure the customer's needs are met for high quality, cost effective logistics services while, at the same time, meeting corporate values and objectives.

Must have a minimum of 5 year supervisory/management. Requires a BS degree in logistics/distribution. Key areas of knowledge should include warehouse management and operations, including equipment and it proper use and maintenance. Ideal candidate will possess good leadership, supervision, motivation and communication skills, along with a professional and positive attitude, appearance and flexibility in meeting customer needs is essential.
