VP, Customer Innovation/Operations

S. Reynolds & Associates, Inc. is under contract with a premier third party logistics provider (3PL) to source a Vice President Operations for their Corporate office located in Scranton, PA. They manage a truckload fleet of 200 power units and 925 trailers and operate close to six million square-feet of warehouse space across 16 U.S. distribution center locations. This is a regular job on my client’s payroll with comprehensive industry competitive benefits and career advancement opportunities.
This senior level member of the management team has ultimate ownership of a customer account. This includes assignment and management of operational, account development and specialty resources. This position will be the “go to” resource for the decision makers within a customer’s organization, managing the overall strategy for a customer.
Responsibilities include:
• Driving financial and operational results for multiple high volume distribution centers.
• Managing contracts and new service pricing.
• Ensuring solution aligns with the customer’s overall business goals.
• Providing exceptional customer service and serving as a customer advocate within the organization.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and results.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or distribution leadership in a 3PL or CPG environment. Must be an effective leader, manager and coach with proven experience driving an organization to exceed expectations. Candidates must have experience developing an effective delivery strategy for the organization based upon analysis and needs assessment. The ideal candidate will be a visionary with proven experience effectively driving change and innovation. Exceptional communication, customer service, decision making and influencing skills are required.
